Did you consider the bellroy venture 6L? It is pretty much the same size. It has a dedicated sunglasses zipper pocket w some soft lining. For me the absolute must have is a back zipper pocket to keep my passport and wallet which neither the sling lite or venture has. Still trying to find the perfect 4-6L sling bag for my international travel

The most useful tip for that I never considered is the buffer zone. Stupidly simple lol. I definitely am guilty of trying to create a fixed budget for fluctuating expenses like groceries for example . So for necessities like that, it's definitely best to just overprepare like you said to avoid dipping into those savings

thank god i found this video, i'm coming up on almost 90,000 photos in my camera roll and it's just getting ridiculous at this point. i have photos dated back from 2013 that i don't even look at anymore but couldn't think of what to do with them. the backup hard drive sorted by years is such a good idea then delete everything off the phone itself! such a simple solution, how did i not think of that?
